Major characters will reunite and meet in HBO's "Game of Thrones" Season 7. Other characters from past seasons are also rumored to appear, and one of those is Jon's (Kit Harington) uncle, Benjen Stark (Joseph Mawle).

Benjen, known as the First Ranger of the Night's Watch, first appeared in the "Game of Thrones" premiere episode back in 2011. He ventured north of the Wall and never came back, but reappeared in Season 6 to save Bran Stark (Isaac Hempstead Wright) and Meera Reed (Ellie Kendrick) from an army of wights.

Benjen was fatally attacked by the White Walkers when he traveled beyond the Wall. However, the Children of the Forest saved him from turning into a wight by putting a piece of dragonglass into his chest. Since then, Benjen a.k.a. Coldhands vowed to continue fighting for the living, though he's technically dead already.

There are speculations that Benjen will show up on "Game of Thrones" Season 7 and recent photos of Mawle with the cast in Northern Ireland may have confirmed the rumors. In a recent photo, the actor was seen with Iain Glen (Jorah Mormont) and Kristofer Hivju (Tormund Giantsbane). Check out the snapshot below.

"Game of Thrones" Season 7 will also feature a darker Sansa Stark (Sophie Turner). In a recent interview with Vulture, Turner pointed out that Sansa got "a taste of power" towards the end of Season 6, where she helped defeat Ramsay Bolton's (Iwan Rheon) forces and kill him.

According to the actress, that was the first time that Sansa felt powerful and she feels like "it's deserved because she did so much for Jon and the North." On "Game of Thrones" Season 6, Sansa and Jon reunited at Castle Black to plot against House Bolton.

While they were planning on "Game of Thrones" Season 6, Jon ignored Sansa's advice and she eventually showed up at the battle with Littlefinger's (Aidan Gillen) forces and helped defeat Ramsay's army. Despite her huge role in the battle, Sansa's contribution was ignored and Jon, in contrast, became the head of Winterfell. Turner said that Sansa felt "stripped of the respect that she really feels she deserves."

Sansa's attempts to be "a collaborative leader" in Winterfell is challenging because of the "patriarchy" and "sexism," and even Jon will have a hard time adjusting to his sister/cousin's input. On "Game of Thrones" Season 7, Turner said that Sansa may contemplate Littlefinger's plan of putting her to the throne with him beside her. Does this mean Sansa would backstab Jon and usurp Winterfell from him?
