'Single White Female' Reboot News & Update: NBC Working On The TV Series Adaptation, Everything That We Need To Know!

A TV Series is on the works for the film from the 1992 film's "Single White Female." NBC is reported to be the one developing the reboot for the said film.

The reboot for "Single White Female" is set in the modern-day life. The reboot is taken from the film in the 90's that starred Bridgette Fonda and Jennifer Jason Leigh. The film was written by Don Roos and was directed by Barbet Schroeder.

 "Single White Female" film has been based on the book by John Lutz titled 'SWF Seeks Same.' The reboot for the famous film is going to be set in San Francisco and will tell a story between good and evil. The fans who are familiar with the film can already expect a series coming up.

In the original film for Single White Female, Bridgette Fonda plays the role of Allison Jones. She is a software designer from New York. Jennifer Jason Leigh on the other hand portrays the role of Hendra who has been taken in by Allison as her roommate.

Aside from the set being in San Francisco, it also is set in New York. Hendra is a con artist in the "Single White Female" TV series. She has looked at Allie and is to have her as the victim in the upcoming show. The reboot is written by Eric Garcia who is also the executive producer of the series.

Meanwhile, a report indicates that the reboot for "Single White Female" will have certain twists. It can be recalled that the film made clear on whom the villain is but the series is going to be filled with conflicts along the way.

The twists that are to be depicted in the reboot for "Single White Female" are enough to keep the show going. The reboot is still in development from NBC and fans need to wait for the official announcement for the air date.
