Finally, "Space Engineers," the space-based survival building video game has reached its Beta stage of development. Its Alpha version was unveiled three years ago, and it seems the game developers have already stabilized the base game leading them to announce this latest development. This newest update has brought in tons of optimizations and bug fixes.

A recent announcement from the game developers of "Space Engineers" published in Gama Sutra stated that they are pushing all the features of last week's massive update to the stable branch. These include a tutorial campaign, a new multiplayer netcode, and a total block redesign. The game developers also assured the players that they wanted these updates to be available to all.

The developers of "Space Engineers" also have also completed the much-awaited work on the game's coding related to its multiplayer aspect. There is a major rework done on each block in the game. It seems everything has been upgraded, including the building components and the player held tools.

But it appears that the basic models for armor, engines, and related stuff were not touched since "Space Engineers" was launched in 2013. It seems that the developers have made some minor adjustments to the windows, and new block types seemed to have been added. However, some of the changes are more noticeable.

One of these is the addition of zoom to turrets in "Space Engineers." This will enable multi-person vessels to be more functional than before. These powerful turrets will not be distracted by decoy blocks. Thus, they will make short work of vessels that have no manned guns.

"Space Engineers" has successfully established itself as one of the best video games in this genre. It offers one of the largest workshops on Steam. Currently, the game boasts of 240,000 items and more are being added continuously. The current focus of the game developers is the development of a great multiplayer experience.
