There's finally a few new details on the highly anticipated Battlefield 1 update, They Shall Not Pass.

Last weekend, EA released a new image of the upcoming Battlefield 1 DLC, They Shall Not Pass, teasing the addition of the French Army in the new update. Accompanied by a French caption translating to "Be Ready" in English, the teaser shows the image of a close-quarter battle in what seems to be like a bunker tunnel.

That's not all. Gamers won't only be getting a playable French Army in the new Battlefield 1 DLC. According to a post on the Battlefield 1 website, gamers will also have access to the army of the Russian Army. The They Shall Not Pass patch is going to be the first ever paid expansion pack for the popular first-person shooter game and is slated to arrive sometime in March 2017.

Of course, gamers can also get the new They Shall Not Pass and other Battlefield 1 updates two weeks ahead before the DLC's official launch next year by getting a season pass ticket of the game. The ticket costs $50, a manageable sum for games who want to get ahead of the general Battlefield 1 public.

Meanwhile, on other Battlefield 1 news, it looks like gamers just have one more day to wait till everyone can get to try out the new Giants Shadow DLC. The DLC was made available to gamers with Premium Passes and gamers who had pre-ordered the game last week, but now everyone can try out the free Battlefield 1 update.

EA Dice also announced last week a new Custom Game mode called Eye to Eye. Made intentionally for gamers fond of close-quarter combat, the new Battlefield 1 custom game mode is set on the map of Amiens and allows gamers to play as an Assault soldier in an infantry battle without health generation or means of revival. Eye to Eye's objective is kill or be killed.
