Super Mario Run has been a big hit since it was released by Nintendo. And since the game is currently available only in iOS devices, clone of the game started to scatter in Google Play Store for Android users to download and play.

Just as the game became available in the Apple App Store on Thursday, Android users started seeing similar games in the Google Play Store such as Super Plumber Run, Mario Run Jumper, and a lot of other games with Super Mario Run's keyword in their names, according to Android Headlines. The site also reports that other applications indicate that it will download Super Mario Run on the device.

Meanwhile, a Google representative cleared that one of the games, "Mario Run Jumper" was already suspended due to developer privacy violations. The giant company has also added that they are still doing investigation on the other applications that could have possibly copied the game as well.

And while iOS users have already gone through different stages and might have saved the Princess in Super Mario Run, Android users are still on the waiting game for its release. According to Forbes, Nintendo said in a statement that the company will release the game in Android devices, but has not given any specific date, or at least a hint on how soon these people are going to wait for the game release.

The news site also reports that the delay may be caused by privacy and piracy issues, which is already happening in Google Play. Super Mario Run was released earlier in iOS since there is a lower chance of piracy compared to Android devices.

And though there is still no specific date on Super Mario Run's Android release, Nintendo promised that Android users will be able to enjoy the game on 2017, Express reports.
