It's definitely a Star Wars week for everyone. With Rogue One dominating the weekend box office and moving on to its second week on the big screen, it seems like the entire franchise is eager to celebrate the Star Wars Christmas season as the prices of some of LucasArts classic Star Wars PS4 videogames drop down to prices that go way below the discounts offered by Steam.

While Star Wars: Battlefront has been the biggest videogame representative of the Star Wars universe ever since its release, gamers will also enjoy playing classic Star Wars videogames like X-Wing vs. Tie Fighter, Empire at War and Star Wars: Rebellion especially since the games now come in a bundle with an 81 percent discount. In the face of the Rogue One and Star Wars holiday cheer, GamesPlanet is rolling out its Star Wars Classic Bundles at a suprising price of $7.48 - a deal that many Star Wars fans ought not to pass by.

The Star Wars Classic Collection bundle comes with eight different videogames from the Star Wars franchise and its bundle price of $7.48 at GamesPlanet is widely better than similar bundles being offered at Steam which usually comes at a price of $23.

Meanwhile, as gamers enjoy the newly released Rogue One DLC for Star Wars: Battlefront, new reports indicate that the game's sequel Star Wars: Battlefront II will finally be getting a single-player campaign to help justify its hefty price tag. Though Star Wars: Battlefront is one of the best Star Wars games, gamers have always felt that the game's $60 cost doesn't really add up especially since it doesn't have a single-player feature.

"We heard the fans loud and clear that the multiplayer was great, but it wasn't enough and they wanted that complete package. So the team has been very focused on delivering that single-player element," Justin McCully from EA revealed.

Star Wars: Battlefront 2 is confirmed to launch sometime during the final quarter of 2017, possibly around the same time as the premiere of the Star Wars: Force Awakens sequel, Star Wars Episode VIII.
