‘Empire’ Season 3 Return Date, Spoilers & Updates: Will Cookie And Lucious Get Back Together?
"Empire" Season 3 recently concluded its first half with the episode titled "A Furnace For Your Foe," which left many viewers with a cliffhanger. Spoilers for the upcoming episodes of the Fox drama tease on the future of Cookie and Lucious as a couple. Will they get back together?

"Empire" Season 3 spoilers reveal that Angelo's past can make or break his relationship with Cookie (Taraji P. Henson). In a recent interview with Variety, executive producer Sanaa Hamri explained that Lucious (Terrence Howard) had different reasons for exposing Angelo's past to Cookie.
According to the showrunner, Lucious is aware that Angelo is similar to Barry, who was Cookie's high school sweetheart. Therefore, Lucious will try to do whatever it takes to keep her from leaving him in "Empire" Season 3.
Hamri further teased that in "Empire" Season 3, viewers will discover the true nature of Cookie and Lucious' relationship and whether it is something that will last forever. The second half of the season will also show some flashbacks on Lucious and Cookie's relationship before things turned sour between them.
Cookie will also need to deal with the fact that her son, Jamal (Jussie Smollett), has been sent to rehab. Andre (Trai Byers), on the other hand, will push forward with his plans to take over the company and kill Lucious in the process.
As Carter Matt recaps the "Empire" Season 3 finale, the episode highlighted Andre's story. No matter how dark Andre seemed to viewers, the episode showed him break down when he chose to say goodbye to Rhonda.
This, however, signals the beginning of Andre's plans to rule the company. This led to speculations that in "Empire" Season 3B, there would be intense scenes between Andre and Lucious, which may even result to death for one of them.
