The global effort to remedy the ebbing climate change, scientists and researchers need all the alternatives to combat global warming. To cut down carbon dioxide emissions from cars, they have found an answer in "Future Cars that will run on urine".

One scientist from Oho University, had found a chemical for the process of extracting hydrogen from urine. The extraction process is a much faster and cheaper way to extract hydrogen from water. This in effect, could charge hydrogen fuel cells that would run and give justice to "Future cars that will run on urine", as stated in an article of BBC.

Microorganisms from urine harnesses energy in their metabolic process. There is a 96% efficiency rate that microorganisms can convert organic material into energy. Scientists from the University of West England termed the process as the Microbial Fuel Cell (MFC) system.

In some parts of England, other scientists are dipping their ideas in urine powered electrical supply. Energy comes in fuel cells like the one being developed at the University of Bath. They already have prototype fuel cells that was harnessed through the microbial fuel cell system, from a report in an article from Huffington Post.

Conversion of organic waste is then focused to the development of the system to create a "future car that will run on urine", after its microbial fuel cells is packed with electrically or chemically harnessed energy derived from pee. This source of energy will eventually join the ranks of solar, wind and water as alternative energy sources.

With "future cars that run on urine", a solution to the world's worsening climate change is a contribution to the problem. For us to survive and have a self-sustainable planet, the world needs all the help it can get. From the carbon emissions that will be minimized, it will be a great impact to the carbon emission bench mark that the already earth had surpassed.
