‘Arrow’ Season 5 Latest Spoilers: How Could Laurel’s Return Affect Team Arrow? Here’s What We Know So Far [Episode 10 Sneak Peek]
"Arrow" Season 5 midseason finale showcased the unexpected return of Laurel Lance. Now that Black Canary is back, fans are left to speculate on what her presence could bring to Team Arrow. Also, it remains to be seen how Laurel managed to come back after her tragic death in Season 4 of Arrow.
The new sneak peek revealed for "Arrow" Season 5 episode 10 showed Oliver Queen telling John Diggle that Laurel is alive. Diggle is concerned about how much the lady knows and didn't forget to remind the Green Arrow about the problems that they need to face. As it seems, Oliver has his hands full at the moment but still saw the good thing that have happened and referred to Laurel as a "gift."
As per Gizmodo, the return of Black Canary could bring some intense emotions to Oliver and Felicity Smoak according TV Line's Michael Ausiello and Matt Mitovich. "Arrow" Executive Producer Wendy Mericle told Ausiello and Mitovich that Felicity will be the one to doubt Laurel's identity. However, Oliver seems to be the opposite as he will just merely be happy to see the beloved character again.
In a previous report from Entertainment Weekly, actor Stephen Amell who portrays the role of Oliver on "Arrow" hinted that there is something that they would have to figure out about Laurel's resurrection. "Obviously people don't just come back from the dead, so there has to be some sort of vetting process to make sure it actually is Laurel, because the group has seen some peculiar things, but we delve into that when we come back in the New Year," the actor explained.
As previously reported by News Everyday, the presence of Black Canary would be strange to Team Arrow. If it is to be considered that the Laurel who came back is not the real Laurel, could Felicity figure it out before her existence presents a possible threat to their group?
