'Jurassic World 2' Spoilers: 'A Monster Calls' Director J.A. Bayona Confirms Pseudo-Political Subtext; Excited to Work With Steven Spielberg!

"Jurassic World" was a hit and its sequel "Jurassic World 2" is expected to earn as much or more to prove that its first success is not a fluke. The director of the upcoming film, J.A. Bayona confirms that the next movie will include a political subtext. He adds that he is excited to work with Steven Spielberg.

Bayona is popular for his films "The Orphanage" and "The Impossible." His latest venture "A Monster Calls" proves that he is also skilled in fantasy movies. IMBD rated "A Monster Calls" with 7.7/10.

Only a few is released about "Jurassic World 2's" plot and Bayona confirmed some of it. According to Coming Soon, "Jurassic" movies feature exploitation and commercialization of dinosaurs, Bayona was asked if the next film will have the same context and he confirmed.

"Yeah, you're right," Bayona said. He added that there's a lot of this in "Jurassic World 2." The film will be darker but it will also be more fun. It will feature a great adventure that the audience will surely find interesting.

According to Bayona the project was given to him because they love "The Orphanage" and "The Impossible" However, the "Jurassic World" sequel will be very different from his previous works. But for those who love those films, there will be scenes that will remind you of those works.

Bayona knows that "Jurassic" is important to Spielberg and he promised to take care of it. In fact, he is already very excited for the project.

"And I am working with Steven Spielberg and that's always very exciting," said Bayona per Cinema Blend. The director loves challenges for his next project as it is a good outlet to learn. With this attitude from Bayona, "Jurassic World 2" will surely be a blockbuster.

"Jurassic World 2" stars Bryce Dallas Howard, Chris Pratt, BD Wong, Rafe Spall and Justice Smith. The film will be released on June 22, 2018.
