On December 14, the Universal Pictures together with Illumination Entertainment released the first teaser for Despicable Me 3. Despicable Me is the fourth in the multi-billion-dollar franchise from Illumination Entertainment. In 2015, the film grossed $1.2 billion worldwide.

The sneak peak trailer was focused on the new villain, Balthazar Bratt.  He is moonwalking on the ocean while clad in a purple jumpsuit and mullet, as he dances to Michael Jackson's hit, Bad. He is the shoulder-padded '80s nemesis with blowing pink bubble gum and exploding Rubik's Cube as his weapons.

It shows that Gru romps off against Bratt. He is a former child star who grows up to turn out to be obsessed with the character he played in the '80s. Bratt often gets into some sibling rivalry when he gets together with Gru's long lost twin brother, Dru. Dru will be closely like Gru except with hair.

In the intervening time of the mission, Lucy thinks an exceptional nickname for their team-up. It seems Gru didn't like it, but he doesn't have a choice. Lucy and Gru are trying to stop from stealing the sparkling pink diamond. It was revealed that the mission is a part of the Anti-Villain League. The main villain for this film looks charming with his shoulder pads. He even challenges Gru to get into a dance battle.

Of course, Despicable Me isn't great without minions. On the last part of the short trailer, two minions appeared as Dick Jockeys. It plays the Xzibit's 2011 track, "What It Is" featuring Young De, and Michael Jackson's original tracks.

The team is back. Enjoy Steve Carell as Gru and Dru, and Kristen Wiig as Lucy. The new 80s obsessed villain is Trey Parker as Balthazar Bratt. Gru's kids will make viewers' heart melt. Miranda Cosgrove as Margo, Dana Gaier as Edith, and Nev Scharrel as the charming Agnes.

The animated comedy film is produced by Illumination Entertainment. It is written by Cinco Paul and Ken Daurio. It is being directed by Pierre Coffin and Kyle Balda and co-directed by Eric Guillon. It is scheduled for release this summer. Despicable Me 3 will hit theaters on June 30, 2017.
