"The OA" is Netflix's new series and is looking darker than 'Stranger Things.' The series' trailer is already revealed and will give viewers a taste of what the plot is about.

This new Netflix original series is hinted to be about a woman who has disappeared for some time and returned. When she reappeared in their hometown, it seems to be that she has not been gone. She remembers all the events that happened in between in "The OA."

"The OA" has been described by Netflix to be a powerful story that lurks in the viewer's minds. It also explores the human connection to life and death. This series is reported to have a touch same as the latest Netflix original which is 'Stranger Things.'

It is also reported that "The OA" is filled with a dark mystery as the story unfolds. The girl who went missing as a kid was blind and when she returns seven years later, she already has the sense of sight. This is a first of the many mysterious twists that may happen to the show.

There is more to the show once it streams on Netflix. "The OA" will give again a new perspective of the Sci-fi world. As of this time, a trailer has already been revealed and there is not much information yet of the full plot and how it goes.

Meanwhile, "The OA" stars Brit Marling who portrays Prairie Johnson. She is the lead character of the series. This is an eight-episode season which is directed by Zal Batmanglij. It is also hinted in the video that this new Netflix original series may be exploring about aliens in the season.

It seems that Netflix has once again provided fans a new series that may be similar to 'Stranger Things.' "The OA" is going to stream its eight episodes on Netflix on December 16, 2016.
