There's a lot of reasons why gamers have to be excited over the upcoming Mass Effect videogame installment, Mass Effect: Andromeda.

In an interview with Game Informer last week, BioWare's creative director for Mass Effect: Andromeda, Mac Walters, went ahead and revealed a few very exciting details about the upcoming Mass Effect 3 sequel. The interview runs for about 40 minutes long on the site, and Walters goes into a lot of detail about the upcoming videogame.

According to the creative director, BioWare has learned a lot from the mistakes the studio made in Dragon Age: Inquisition and promises gamers that the quests in Mass Effect: Andromeda would definitely be satisfying for everyone. Apparently each planet will have its own unique storyline with side quests that tie in to the major plot presented by the planet. That way, all of the Mass Effect quests would be more meaningful for gamers, as gamers learn more about the planet and its problems.

The videogame developer also promises to bring both male and female versions of species in the upcoming Mass Effect: Andromeda, learning from gamers criticisms that different species genders were underrepresented in the older games in the Mass Effect trilogy.

To keep up with the new creatures and planets, Walters also says that they'll be providing a codex for the game for players to learn more about the lore of Mass Effect: Andromeda. The director also advises fans to keep their Mass Effect save files. It looks like a lot of things about the game is going to make their way into the game's planned sequels.

In other Mass Effect: Andromeda news, it seems like gamers are looking for the announcements on the winners of BioWare's Explorer's Wanted Contest. BioWare announced the contest earlier this year, giving fans the opportunity to voice a character in the upcoming Mass Effect installment. However, it seems like there still hasn't been any announcements so far on who's won the Explorers Wanted contest. Gamers may have to wait on BioWare a bit longer to know who wins.
