Cronologics has been bought by Google for an undisclosed amount. It was founded in 2014 by Lan Roche, Leor Stern, and John Lagerling and specialized in developing alternative smartwatches OS to Android Wear. The company is well-known for its smartwatch OS plus a wearable CoWatch.

"We see strong alignment with Android Wear's mission and look forward to working with our new colleagues at Google to continue pushing the frontier of wearable technology and smartwatches with Android Wear 2.0 and beyond," Leor Stern tweeted. He announced that the team will be joining Google.

It was expected that Google will be unveiling its smartwatches in 2017. Cronologics and IMCO launched the CoWatch smartwatch which has the wearable 1.39 inch Super AMOLED display with 400 x 400-pixel resolution and a MIPS 1.2 GHz and 300 Mhz dual processor. The CoWatch has a carbon black or mineral silver stainless with a Zirconia composite ceramic body. It is a water resistance and has a Bluetooth audio control. The battery life is up to 32 hours in always-on mode.

It has a voice-based virtual assistant powered by Amazon's Alexa Voice Service. Google is still improving the voice recognition features on the Android Wear. The voice service needs to be connected to as Wi-Fi network or with a phone data connection. The CoWatch supports iOS 9 and Android 5.0 Lollipop plus devices.

The CoWatch has the accelerometer, heart rate sensor, gyro-meter, magnetometer, and vibro motor. In an addition, the flash storage is 1 GB and 8 GB of RAM. Some additional features are Bluetooth and Wi-Fi. These features are organized in categories like fitness tracking, communication, and entertainment for the contentment of the user.

The Magic Minute Project awakens the market that Android Wear is still expensive and further innovating. The state of the art technology competes with other luxury brands. Reports say that IMCO will continue to sell and develop the Amazon's Alexa CoWatch.
