'One Piece' Chapter 850 News, Updates & Spoilers - Reiju's Attacker Revealed, Series Enters A New Arc

Once again, readers of 'One Piece' were left with a nail-biting cliffhanger as the previous chapter ended. The chapter titled "Choniki in Mirrorland" has revealed a seriously wounded Reiju.

Fans are expecting to find out who Reiju's attacker was, and that the storyline might conclude on the next chapter. Reiju was shown bleeding, and barely even able to stand in the previous chapter.

As an intelligent character, fans are suspecting that this attack was not premeditated by Reiju. Her character was always a smart, calculated one. This means that her attacker was the one to hit first.

It is widely known that Reiju does not make enemies easily, so this could hint that her attacker is somebody who holds a personal grudge. The attacker's motives are also in question.

Some fans online speculate that this is another one of Big Mom's evil doings. However, seeing that an important wedding is about to go down under her watch, it seems highly unlikely she'll have the time to execute this attack.

Another person who could be planning to start a war between Big Mom and the Vinsmokes could be Capones. However, if he's the one behind this, he wouldn't have left Reiju alive as she could rat him out when she survives.

Fans can recall that Smoothie, Cracker and Lord Katakuri are also in Big Mom's castle at the time. This hints that one of them did it. This will make sense if the writers are planning to introduce Katakuri on "One Piece's" next chapter.

Katakuri's intentions are still unclear, but if this is the way things are headed, it could be a great introduction to the character. It would also end 2016 with a bang for readers as Chapter 850 will be the last one for the year.
