The English singer and songwriter Zayn Malik has been struggling with his anxiety disorder which is now noticeable and it has been the talk of the public lately. Anxiety disorder is a mental disorder that is characterized by feelings of anxiety and fear. Anxiety is a worry about the future while fear is a reaction to current events. Anxiety disorder often occurs with other mental disorders such as major depressive disorder, personality disorder and substance use disorder.

The former One Direction member, Malik, left the girls devastated when he made an exit from the boy group. During his time with the band, he was also experiencing an eating disorder which made him look unhealthy. Rumors were also fast like a flash, as it circulated in the media and other online publication that Malik was just torn by his break up with the Victoria Secret model, Gigi Hadid. The 23-years-old singer shared his health condition after he was spotted looking ill. Zayn was also in the headlines after he canceled a gig in London last June as he was in his worst anxiety of his career.

The Pillow Talk singer then released a statement apologizing to everyone who waited just to see him. He also added that he just wants to be honest and was hoping that everyone will understand and empathize with his situation.

A former member of "Take That", Robbie Williams, has been through series of fights as he was suffering from the same condition. During Williams radio interview with U.K's Key 103 with Toolan and Pegg, they have discussed Malik dealing with the disorder and who was very vocal about it. Williams sends out some advice for Zayn that therapy will help and added, "So, I would say to Zayn, just be brave mate. Just be brave. You might never be confident but you can be brave. That's I'll say. Even if you're scared just do it anyway."
