No franchise represents Nintendo like Super Mario Bros., and the company is taking their iconic hopping plumber into the world of mobile gaming. Super Mario Run is the first Mario game available for Android and iOS, and Nintendo has released a new trailer that goes in-depth as to what players can expect from the latest Mario game.

According to the Super Mario Run trailer, this game allows players to play Super Mario with only one hand. That means that Mario in the game will be constantly running forward, and the developers have added a few extra elements to make his movement around the screen more diverse. There are blocks that stop Mario from running so players can time his movement better, and Mario can also dash on walls - much like Megaman X.

Aside from avoiding all the goombas and other hazards, Super Mario Run players will also have to collect coins. There are also different colored versions of the coins called challenge coins, and players who collect all of them can unlock a different challenge with a different colored coin.

Aside from the classic tropical setting, Super Mario Run also has a lot of new and familiar places that players will get to explore. Mario will have to run around haunted houses, airships, deserts and many more.

Super Mario Run also comes with two different play modes like the Toad Rally which lets players compete within the game, and Kingdom Builder which allows players to customize their own kingdoms and unlock extra bonus levels.

According to Game Fragger, Super Mario Run will only be available for Apple this December, and it will come out for Android devices sometime in 2017. The game will also have a version for the Nintendo Switch, but some say that the Switch version could very well be a completely different game from the mobile version of Super Mario Run.

Super Mario Run will be worth $9.99 with no in-app transactions, and it will come out for Apple devices on Dec. 15.
