The long wait is over for Adidas fans who have been eyeing for its new 3D printed running shoes. The shoe brand has already released the 3D Runners, and sign-ups and reservations for a pair have already started.

According to Tech Crunch, the 3D Runners, as expected by sneakers fans, is not as cheap as any other sneakers in the market. Having a pair would mean that you need to have $333 and since the shoes are highly anticipated by Adidas fans, supplies of the 3D Runners might be fewer than its demand, since it has just been launched, the news site added.

Starting this Thursday on December 15, the Adidas 3D Runners will be ready for pickup for customers who managed to sign up and place their order in only three locations: London, Tokyo and New York. However, the news site stressed that the sign ups and reservations for the running shoes can only be done though the Adidas application, which is available for free download on iOS and Android devices.

Adidas has designed its 3D Runner shoes with a 3-D web structure with density changing features that changes one's foot strike ones it wears the shoe. Typical gluing and stitching on the shoes have also been changed using a 3-D printed heel counter, as described by Footwear News.

Engadget also reports that the 3D Runner has a black Primeknit upper, which is somewhat similar to Kanye West's "Yeezy" Ultra Boost. The report also confirms that pick up location in New York will be on 5Th Avenue starting Tuesday while those who plan to pick up their reserved pair in Tokyo and London would have to wait until Thursday.

And while it has been reported that the availability of the Adidas 3D Runner will only be limited when it's launched, the shoes is expected to be available through various resellers but would definitely cost more compared to its initial selling price.
