Former "Brady Bunch" Star Susan Olsen took to Facebook her sentiments about her highly publicized homophobic rant which caused her to lose her job on LA Talk Radio. Though the former child actress has not released an official statement about her firing, she posted an update on Facebook to state that people are allowed to have different opinions. The 55-year-old radio host was fired following an online confrontation with actor Leon Acord-Whiting who is openly gay.

A report from US Magazine detailed Acord-Whiting's reaction on Facebook about Olsen's comments on the LGBT community. The actor accused LA Talk Radio as irresponsible for allowing Olsen to co-host the program with Sheena Metal as Olsen spreads "outrageous misinformation." Acord-Whiting also expressed that he thinks that what Olsen is doing is "dangerous and unprofessional."

Olsen took a screen capture of Accord-Whiting's Facebook post, shared it on her own page, and called it a "little piece of human waste." She also allegedly replied to the comedian and offended the latter by using a provocative term for gay men as per Fox News. Olsen then posted a concluding statement where she implied that people learn from differences in opinion and that she also loves to be told that she is wrong and soon figure out that she is actually wrong.

Because of Olsen's homophobic remarks, LA Talk Radio has confirmed that they have already severed their ties with the radio host. The radio station wrote on a Facebook post, "LA Talk Radio takes pride in its close and collaborative relationship with the LGBT community, and will continue to provide a home for those who have hopeful and positive messages of togetherness and tolerance to share with our listeners."

"We will not tolerate hateful speech by anyone associated with our radio station and have severed our ties with a host that veered off the direction in which we are going," LA Talk Radio continued.
