Nintendo unveils plans for Super Nintendo World! Mario-inspired attractions is underway!

Remember the news about Nintendo announcing to create a Nintendo-theme amusement park? Nintendo just released their concept art on the theme park.

Earlier this year, Nintendo announced that they'll be having Nintendo-inspired attractions in Universal Studios. This is due to the partnership that Nintendo and Universal Parks and Resorts agreed on last year to make Nintendo's iconic games an attraction for people to enjoy. This aims to have people dive literally into the world of video games with the theme parks' interactivity and Nintendo finally delivered their promise.

Nintendo America recently tweeted an image of what appears to be a concept plan for what Super Nintendo World would look like. Super Nintendo World is coined to be the name of the Nintendo-inspired attraction. The concept art is designed to incorporate famous objects from the Super Mario series. Mushrooms, castles, and even the level map of the game can be seen in the concept art of the theme park. Bowser and Princess' Peach's castles can also be seen towering above. There's also a concept plan of what appears to be a prototype for a Mario Kart-inspired attraction. The ride would rock back and forth, emulating the drifting feature of the popular racing game.

Nintendo also said in their tweet that Super Nintendo World will feature "attractions based on many Nintendo titles." They also said that they are targeting 2020 as their opening date, in time for the Tokyo Olympics Games. Since the plan has been on the move since 2015, there will be roughly five years for the attraction theme park to be completed.

And the good news is that it will not only be released in Japan! Other Universal Studios located in Florida and Los Angeles will also sport the Super Nintendo World attraction However, Nintendo will be releasing the said attraction first in the Universal Studios located in Osaka Japan.
