Microsoft announced last November through Xbox Wire that players will be able to stream the Xbox One library directly to the Oculus Rift VR head gears by using the Oculus Rift app. It will be a no hassle, no fees direct streaming. However, as Ars Technica has noted, the Oculus Rift will not change Xbox One games into full VR experiences.

Streaming Can Be Done On Windows 10 PCs and Laptops

But the more important thing is that players can now stream the Xbox One games on their Xbox One library to the Oculus Rift through their Windows 10 PC. Windows 10 is the best platform for Oculus Rift. This is the reason why the latest PCs and laptops are made Rift-compatible. For players whose PCs and laptops are not yet Rift-ready, they can go to the portal of Oculus Rift and download the tool for Rift compatibility for Windows 10.

Here is The Step By Step Process

Once a player's computer is Rift-ready, he will be able to stream all his Xbox One games through his device. These are the steps he needs to take using his Xbox One. First, he needs to plug his Xbox One Controller to his computer through its USB port and then wait for the installation of the driver. The controller will vibrate to signify that the link is established.

Then he needs to launch the Xbox app on his computer. After this, he should create an Xbox Live account or sign in his existing account. Then he can turn on the Xbox One. He needs to ensure that the Xbox One and his computer are using the same network. On the Xbox One, he should navigate to Settings, Preferences and tick the "Allow game streaming to other devices" button. He then needs to go to the left-hand navigation on the app of the Xbox one on the computer and click "Connect." Lastly, he needs to click "Stream" and streaming will commence.
