The Xperia Smartphones By Sony Are Pleasing Devices

Sony recently brought the Xperia XZ and Xperia X models and they are performing well. The Android update has started rolling out for various Sony devices. Sony as a manufacturer is planning to become the first third-party handset creator to provide the Android Nougat update to its customers. Neurogadget reports that apart from Xperia X Performance the Xperia XZ, as well as older device, might also get benefited from the Android update.

Xperia X Has Manual Controls

The update will also bring VoLTE support for the handset. The US and international version of Xperia X have started receiving the Nougat update. It is good news for those users who missed the unlocked models of the handsets, GSM Arena reports. The Xperia X Performance may have manual controls including shutter speed control and manual focus.

Tweaks to New Version Of Android

Sony has added tweaks like manual camera setting control, a new messaging app and redesigned home screen which is capable of bundling in Google Now making it more personal and easy to use. Sony is the latest Smartphone manufacturer which has confirmed Android update on its devices.

Other Sony devices which are receiving the Android update include Xperia X Compact, Xperia XZ, Xperia Z5, Xperia Z4 tablet, Xperia Z5 Performance, Xperia Z5 Compact Xperia X and Xperia Z3.

Sony says that the Android nougat has already rolled out but the users might not see the software on their devices for next few weeks. Battery life of the Sony handsets may also improve because of the Android update and there would be features like smart unlock with facial recognition.
