'Once Upon A Time' Season 6 "Tougher Than The Rest" Spoilers: New Realms, Pinocchio Returns, Gideon's Past & Other 'OUAT' Details Revealed
The second half of "Once Upon A Time" Season 6 promises a mixture of romance, danger, magic, and hope bundled together in the next episode entitled "Tougher Than The Rest" when it returns in March 2017. With a lot of revelations in the previous episode of "OUAT" series, it won't be surprising if fans were left overwhelmed with guesses of what is to come in Season 6.
Speaking with Entertainment Weekly, showrunners Edward Kitsis and Adam Horowitz leaked some details about the upcoming "Once Upon A Time" Season 6. Moving forward to the second half of the season, the story of Gideon, the man under the hood prophesized to kill Emma will be an important part going forward.
Horowitz and Kitsis revealed that there will be a new realm in the second half of "Once Upon A Time" Season 6 which is the land where the Black Fairy lives, a dark soul that the show has been giving teasers about since the start of the show. Fans can expect more of the Black Fairy when the show returns as well. Another realm that was introduced before the midseason break was the "wish realm" where Regina and Emma were stuck due to their encounter with Robin Hood.
Horowitz revealed that August (Pinocchio) will be returning to bail them out. The "Wish Realm" is opening more possibilities in "Once Upon A Time" Season 6 moving forward. The showrunners said that they will be creating spinoffs of the characters of "OUAT" show. So fans are likely to see returning characters from the dead.
In a separate interview with TV Guide, the showrunners revealed what to expect in the "Tougher Than The Rest" episode in the second half of "Once Upon A Time" series. In the premiere, fans can expect details about what happened to Gideon and who he really is. Also, there will be more of Robin Hood and Regina in the premiere which outlines how his return will affect all of the torybrooke characters.
The second half of "Once Upon A Time" Season 6 entitled "Tougher Than The Rest" returns every Sunday starting March 2017.
