Finding a Hatchimals interactive egg is the modern-day version of searching for the Lost City of El Dorado. This very popular interactive toy from Spin Master is one of the most popular but very elusive gift items for Christmas. Hatchimals plus the NES Classic Edition has emerged as the must-have toys this year.

For parents who want to snatch a Hatchimals, Walmart has set up a website for tracking the egg toys' inventories. The very helpful tool is located at Brickseek.com and is developed to aid parents in their search for the most sought-after holiday toys.

The site will give users daily updates on Hatchimals inventories as well as on NES Classic consoles. These inventories are from retailers such as Amazon, Target, and Walmart.

News Every Day reported on another stock informer tool for Hatchimals and Mini NES. Consumers are advised to check these online tools regularly. Signing up to these sites could also help to receive regular notifications on stock updates.

Meanwhile, Best Buy announces that it will start selling the Nintendo NES Classic again this December 20. However, if history is any indication, this retro gaming box will also run out on December 20. A Best Buy representative corresponded with Fortune magazine on the extremely limited stock for the said date.

Best Buy follows the move of other retailers that have restocked the white elephant of holiday shopping - the NES Mini. Last Sunday, Toys R Us released new shipments but they were gone in minutes. Fashion retailer Urban Outfitters followed and had the toys sold online. Walmart and Target also updated their inventories, which of course were wiped out.

Nintendo insists that there will be more stocks of the NES Classic throughout the holiday season. Hatchimals maker Spin Master also assured the buying public that there will be more shipments coming.
