The mysterious world of Sherlock Holmes (Benedict Cumberbatch) is coming back on the first day of 2017. Fans of “Sherlock” already cleared their January’s Sundays and are ready to face every action Sherlock has prepared with Dr. John Watson (Martin Freeman).

According to TV Wise, season 4 of “Sherlock” will be released on the first day of New Year, Sunday, January 1 at 8:30 p.m. The drama is focused on Sherlock Holmes and his friend Dr. John Watson as they work together on numerous cases for Metropolitan Police Service. The first episode of “Sherlock” season 4 is titled “The Six Thatchers” where Sherlock is waiting to see if Moriarty will make his move. But he is more interested to see if there is a madman on the loose destroying images of the late Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher?

According to Deadline, BBC released a new trailer for the new season of “Sherlock”. In the summer, three names were given by the creators Mark Gatiss and Steven Moffat, Thatcher, Smith, and Sherrinford. The first one, Thatcher is about the late Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher, she will ask for help when someone is constantly destroying her images. When Sherlock and Dr. John Watson will take the case, will they find a madman or there is a deeper and darker secret? However, New Year is very close and the fans will get to see what it is all about and the story behind the other two names.

According to Comic Book, Dr. John Watson and his wife Mary (Amanda Abbington) are about to face their biggest challenge, becoming parents. In "Sherlock" season 3, Sherlock was about to take off when he witnessed Moriarty's comeback. Will his shadow continue to loom over Sherlock, or there will be another mastermind to take down?
