ZTE owners rejoice! After being behind on the Android 7.0 Nougat, things are looking good for ZTE as they have announced a Nougat update for their Axon 7 users. This update is good for the United States only at the moment and is open for those who are interested in joining the Android 7.0 Nougat Preview Program.

According to ZTE, only the owners of Axon 7 with model number A2017U are the users that are needed to enroll at the ZTE US Community and create and account. Then, fill out forms so that they can be part of the preview program. There will be a non-disclosure agreement and some forms to be filled out. As a part of the Android 7.0 Nougat Preview Program, evaluators are responsible for submitting reports especially if bugs or other technical issues are experienced.

Another thing to remember is that evaluators need to wait to be accepted into the program. The Android 7.0 Nougat Preview Program has no definite release date yet but it is expected to go live and be launched sometime in January 2017.

Once an account is created for the Android 7.0 Nougat Preview Program and the account is accepted, the user will be able to download Android 7.0 Nougat on the Axon 7 way before it gets to be released to the public.

The ZTE Axon 7 specs are amazing with its 5.5-inch display and a 1,220x2650 pixel resolution. It also runs on a Snapdragon 820 with 64 GB of internal storage and 4 GB of RAM. The main camera of the ZTE Axon 7 is 20 MP and those who are into selfies will be happy to know that its selfie camera is 8 MP. Plus it will be updated to Android 7.0 soon. Thanks to the users who will be part of the testing for the Android 7.0 Nougat Preview Program, things will even be better soon.
