"The Vampire Diaries" Season 8 spoilers reveal that Ian Somerhalder and Nina Dobrev may be reuniting in the finale episode of The CW series. In a recent interview with E! News, Candice King explained that they are already filming the 13th episode of the current and final season.
This means that "TVD" Season 8 is down to its last few episodes before the cast and crew finally bid their fans farewell. Nina Dobrev still has not been seen anywhere on the set of The CW drama, leading fans to believe that most anticipated Delena reunion will occur at the end of the show.
In "The Vampire Diaries" Season 8 midseason finale titled "The Next Time I Hurt Somebody, It Could Be You," Damon (Ian Somerhalder) and Stefan (Paul Wesley) decided to work for Cade for a year. Damon also gifted Elena's necklace to Sybil only to rip her heart out after seeing her wearing it.
This led to speculations that "The Vampire Diaries" Season 8B will feature Sybil's revenge on Damon and Elena coming to the rescue. However, Dobrev's return still remains a mystery, as Somerhalder told Variety that he does not have any idea whether his ex-girlfriend will be back in the show.
The 38-year-old actor also seemed very vocal about not wanting to see Dobrev back in "The Vampire Diaries" Season 8. According to Somerhalder, seeing Damon and Elena happy together at the end of the show does not seem to give the show justice after all the bad things Damon did in the past.
