While no confirmation has been announced yet regarding the Google Nexus 7 and its release in 2017 but reports that Huawei is still involved in creating more buzz. The China-based company, however, wants to own part of the name which causes its late production.

Although Evan Blass confirmed on his tweet a couple of months ago that there is a possibility that Google is already building with Huawei the 7-inch Nexus 7 tablet which has a 4 GB of RAM. He also leaked that the new Nexus 7 will be released by the end of the year.

However, as it is already the last month of the year, Google has not yet announced the arrival of Google Nexus 7 or if it is going to be released in Q1 2017. Of course, most are still uncertain if the upcoming tablet would be named Google Nexus since Huawei also wants to be part of the name.

Reports are indicating that a possible "Google Huawei Nexus 7" or "Huawei Nexus 7" could be the possible name unless Google also brand the 7-inch tablet "Pixel" too just like its two upcoming Google phones, Pixel and Pixel XL.

When it comes to the upcoming Nexus 7 OS, Know Your Mobile suggested that there is a possibility that it will run Google's Andromeda. As the report also indicated that Huawei will develop two new devices which would be released next year. The Huawei Nexus 7 tablet and a convertible laptop will both carry Andromeda.

Aside from the leak made by Evan Blass that Nexus 7 will have 4GB of RAM, the upcoming tablet will also have a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor tech and a 7-inch display. While there are no confirmation yet regarding its release, rumors are indicating a Q3 2917 release. Consumers, however, are asking for a much earlier release since Q3 is still very far from now.
