‘Aquaman’ Torpedoes Back From Atlantis To Be A Hero And Save The World

"Aquaman" will join the Justice League of America in the installment movie for 2017. Jason Momoa will play the role of "Aquaman", King of the Seven Seas and Ruler of Atlantis.

The movie "Aquaman" is scheduled to hit the big screens in 2018, Director of the movie is James Wan. In this film, Arthur Curry is the common name of the telepathic ruler of Atlantis. Arthur later learned that he is the heir to the throne of the underwater kingdom of Atlantis.

Arthur Curry (a.k.a. "Aquaman") was born to an Atlantean queen and a surface dweller working as a lighthouse keeper. When his mother, Atlanna was on her deathbed, she revealed everything about her life in Atlantis as a princess-queen to her husband Tom Curry, Arthur's father. She narrated that she was banished from the kingdom due to her frequent visits to the surface and dry land, according to an article in Gamespot.

On a stormy night, Tom Curry saw Atlanna being tossed away by huge waves and swam to save her. Bringing Atlanna to safety, they fostered a very strong bond and an offspring was born, Arthur Curry. Tom Curry trained and prepared Arthur Curry for his return to Atlantis as King of the underwater realm.

Upon learning that Arthur Curry is "Aquaman" and heir to the underwater Kingdom of Atlantis, Arthur decided to confront himself, be a hero to his people and to the world, as stated in IMDb.

"Aquaman's" superpowers are super strength, durability(bullets bounce off him), control over sea life ( he can talk to fish), exceptional swimming ability ( at the speed of 1000 knots, could toss himself to up to 60 feet above sea level), and the ability to breathe underwater

"Aquaman" met "Mera" and wed her. "Mera" is a visitor from an interdimensional water realm known as Xebel. He has a sidekick called "Aqualad" as his apprentice. "Aquaman will be facing a worthy villain in his movie called the "Black Manta" who took and killed his son.

"Aquaman's" upcoming movie will be a long wait for a while. Preparations are taking place in creating the film so as not to disappoint fans. Surely, with all those superhero flicks popping here and there, "Aquaman" is not a movie to be taken lightly.
