"The Good Wife" spinoff "The Good Fight" will reclaim the slot that the original series enjoyed. It is all set to do the Sunday ritual as CBS All Access has slotted Sunday, February 19 for the premiere of its first original drama series.

"The Good Fight" will be available on-demand on CBS All Access. The show will start at 8 PM ET. "The Good Fight" will coincide with a special broadcast preview of the premiere on the CBS TV network that will air that same night at 8 PM. After the premiere of the show, it will be available weekly on Sundays exclusively for CBS All Access subscribers.

"The Good Fight," from "The Good Wife" creators Robert and Michelle King, is all set to start one year after the final episode of "The Good Wife" was aired. It is reported that in the new series, an enormous financial scam has destroyed the reputation of a young lawyer, Maia Rindell. This scandal also wipes out the savings of her mentor and godmother Diane Lockhart, reported Deadline.

As the duo are forced out of Lockhart & Lee, they join Lucca Quinn at one of Chicago's pre-eminent law firms. Robert and Michelle King are the showrunners and executive producers of "The Good Fight." The premiere episode was co-written and executive produced by Phil Alden Robinson along with the Kings. Ridley Scott, David Zucker, Liz Glotzer, Brooke Kennedy and Alison Cross also serve as executive producers. The premiere episode was directed by Kennedy, reported TV Guide.

"CBS All Access has built tremendous momentum in the past year - passing 1 million subscribers, launching our first original with Big Brother: Over The Top and, most recently, bringing live NFL On CBS programming to the service," said Marc DeBevoise, the President and Chief Operating Officer of CBS Interactive. "We're continuing this momentum with the upcoming launch of The Good Fight which promises to not only deliver more ambitious premium programming for our subscribers but an opportunity for world-class creators like Robert and Michelle King to push the envelope in new ways."

"The Good Fight" is produced by CBS Television Studios in association with Scott Free Productions and King Size Productions. CBS Studios International is handling worldwide distribution.
