The E3 event in June 2016 has excited fans of the mythology-based RPG "God Of War 4" as it was announced to be released for PlayStation 4 gamers soon. A trailer for the game was also released, heavily implying a change in the game's main character.

"God Of War 4" is already in production and is steadily approaching its release date. According to Game Rant, Borey Balrog has informed fans via Twitter that the game's motion capture shooting is almost wrapped up. Unfortunately, this was the only answer fans got regarding "God OF War 4" as Barlog opted against sharing any more information about the upcoming game. More information about the game will be released sometime in 2017.

Moreover, "God Of War 4" might be looking at a release date delay as reported by Game N Guide. Apparently, Santa Monica Studio is facing a shortage of qualified individuals to work on "God Of War 4." This speculation was sparked due to the recent post of a job opening on the developer's website.

In addition, the recently released trailer for "God Of War 4" features the game's constant star Kratos, however, this time he has a kid by his side. It seems that Kratos will train the child in combat and survival. The latter led to the rumor that this kid may be Thor who will take over the game's story as the lead character, replacing Kratos as per Jobs & Hire.

Furthermore, "God Of War 4" is expected to come with numerous new features and a massive overhaul of the game's battle system. The trailer for the upcoming game has hinted that Kratos will have a new combat style along with babysitting duty for the kid he is with. Moreover, seeing the secondary character in the form of a child has caused some to speculate that the game will be multiplayer. However, these rumors were slammed by multiple reports that "God Of War 4" lacks the potential for cooperative gameplay.

"God Of War" is expected to have a release date for 2017, however, the developer's struggles with people working on the project may cause delay. Stay tuned to News Everyday for more updates.
