"Grimm" is all set to start its Season 6 in 2017. On Dec. 5, Elizabeth Tulloch posted a video of the crime drama and the set of "Grimm" has snow all over it. The pictures of the show's behind-the-scenes managed to gain a lot of attention among the fans.

"Grimm" Season 6 that will premiere on Jan. 6, 2017 will be the final season of the NBC supernatural crime series. The final season is reported to have around 13 episodes or more.

The plot of "Grimm" revolves around Nick Burkhardt, played by David Giuntoli. He is a homicide detective in the Portland Police Department. The protagonist finds out that he is a descendant of upper-class criminal profilers known as Grimms. He is faced with a constant conflict between his responsibilities as an investigator and as a Grimm, reported International Business Times.

The Season 5 of "Grimm" ended with Sean Renard (Sasha Ruiz) stabbing Black Claw leader Conrad Bonaparte (Shaun Toub) to death. Nick, at this time, realizes that he has a magic stick which has the power of healing, reported HNGN.

"We've done so many cliffhangers where it looks like someone might be dead-like a million of 'em. We have too much respect for the viewer to keep doing that at this point," reported David Giuntoli. "Renard is going to be the big bad in Season 6." Giuntoli added, "I'm guessing he's probably happy to have Wu around, no matter what."

David Giuntoli has double the responsibilities in the upcoming season of "Grimm." He is all set to direct in the new season. The fans of the series being canceled are sidelined now and it does look like the series will be renewed again. We have no official confirmation on this as yet.

The fans of the series are eager to see Nick and his companions in the final season of "Grimm" which is scheduled to premiere on Jan. 2017. The show is expected to air on Fridays at 8:00PM.
