'Girl Meets World' Season 4 Canceled: August Maturo And Cheryl Texiera Calling Disney To Save The Show!

"Girl Meets World" is one of the most successful shows in Disney. The American coming of age TV sitcom has graced the screen for two years but it is now coming to its end. According to reports, its stars August Maturo and Cheryl Texiera is calling Disney and everyone to support the renewal of their show.

August Maturo who plays as Auggie Matthews, Riley's (Rowan Blanchard) younger brother in "Girl Meets World" is not ready to see the end of the TV sitcom. On his Twitter account, the child star is calling for Disney Channel to renew "GMW."

According to Maturo, the next season could feature Shawn and Katy as parents. Of course, fans would agree to this. They just got married and their future family is something that viewers would want to see in the next episodes.

Aside from Maturo, Just Jared reported that Cheryl Texiera is also calling Disney to renew "Girl Meets World" Season 4. Texiera who plays as Maya's (Sabrina Carpenter) mom has written a poignant letter asking the network to produce more episodes.

In her open letter, Texiera expressed her joy in playing the role of Katy Hart. According to her for over two years of playing the role, one of the things she loves is the camaraderie of the cast, crew, writer, producers and fans. Everyone involved in the show is very cooperative and supportive.

"This show is about family - it's about friends - it's an honest coming of age tale that needs to be told. Especially in today's market," Texeira wrote. She ended her letter with a personal plea calling Disney to save "Girl Meets World" and renew season 4.

On a side note, Riley gives Maya the greatest Christmas gift that one could send to his or her best friend, TVOvermind reported. Maya initially thinks that she would ruin her mom and Shawn's Christmas. Maya has this thinking that she is out of luck and that, good things are only meant for other people.

So for Christmas, Riley let Maya spends the holidays with her new family. For the first time, Maya has a complete family and there's no better celebration than to be with them.
