'Hunter X Hunter' News & Updates: Will Shueisha Replace Yoshihiro Togashi?

The creator of 'Hunter x Hunter' Yoshihiro Togashi is suffering from back pain, which prevents him from working. But according to the latest report, he was given a deadline to report back the work and finish the series until February 2017.

According to News Every Day, the publisher Shueisha Inc. has given Togashi a deadline until February 2017 to get back to work and finish the manga series. The last chapter of "Hunter X Hunter" Chapter 360 was published more than five months ago at the end of June 2016. The series already took a two-year pause in August 2014 and returned in April 2016.

According to a previous report by Togashi's back pain is a serious and complicated disease which prevents him from work.  However, the publisher Shueisha is already looking for a new illustrator to replace Togashi in case he can't finish the work before the deadline. Fans are saying that if they plan to replace him, his wife Tekeuchi will be perfect for this job to continue "Hunter X Hunter". If she continues to work on the manga series there won't be any significant changes.

According to Gack Hollywood, fans are worried about Togashi's health, but more about the fate of their favorite story "Hunter X Hunter". What will happen to the manga series if Togashi can't finish the series before the deadline? However, Shueisha is looking for a new illustrator and they want a fresh start for the series. There are rumors that Togashi's wife, Naoko Takeushi will replace him and continue his work. She is also mangaka and fans know her for her work "Sailor Moon". But, there is one more candidate, Sui Ishida. Fans of his work already know that he already started to work on "Hunter X Hunter" himself.

According to Ecumenical News, the return of "Hunter X Hunter" was a roller coaster of emotions when the Japanese manga returned after a two-year pause just to leave them again due to Yoshihiro Togashi's health problems. There is not an official date of the return of the series, however, Togashi has been given a deadline until February 2017. Will he succeed and finish the manga series before the deadline or someone will replace him will leave you to wait and see.
