It's finally here! The 2017 Dodge Challenger will be the first two-door American muscle car all wheel drive.  Fans will be expecting this awesome car before the snow melts next spring. This is the American muscle car that everyone deserves to experience.

The Dodge Challenger is named after three different generations of American automobiles manufactured by Dodge in Detroit, Michigan. Manufactured from the year 1958 to 1959, the Dodge Silver Challenger was born. Dodge Challenger pony car was assembled using the Chrysler E platform, with some major parts with the Plymouth Barracuda. Second generation, the Galant Lambda, built from 1978 to 1983. The third and present generation that was launched in early 2008 as a competitor to the 5th Generation Mustang and Chevrolet Camaro.

Meanwhile, the Challenger GT will not be V8-powered, it will have the same 3.6-liter Pentastar V6, with 305 HP and 268lb-ft of torque (6,350 and 4,800 rpm). The car is equipped with ZF's ubiquitous eight-speed automatic transmission, steering-wheel-mounted shifters, metal-trimmed pedals, fog lamps, rear parking sensors, an 8.4-inch Uconnect display with Apple CarPlay, Nappa leather seating, heated and ventilated front seats, a 276-watt Alpine stereo with six speakers, and a backup camera. This Challenger can do an estimated 18mpg city/27 mpg highway.

The Challenger GT comes with a 19-inch aluminum wheel coated in Hyper Black, wearing 235/55R tires and has a spoiler attached to the decklid. And if that's not enough, there is a $995 GT Interior package, where drivers can get performance seats stitched in Nappa leather and microsuede, additional three speakers, and 230 more watts of audio power.

The 2017 Challenger GT starting price is at $34,490, which is less than the price of a Subaru WRX STI,  that has the same horsepower with the new GT! Production is scheduled to start in January in the first quarter of 2017, and just time for winter.
