"The Circle" delves into the modern lifestyle mode which is the 'in thing' nowadays; camera here and there, where everyone appears to be like the star of their own movies.  Human behaviors are daily monitored via CCTV.  Studies showed great improvement of characters living within the boundaries of lenses.  However, to most, the natural instinct continues to define their real identity beyond lenses.

Emma Watson breathes in the character of Mae Holland in "The Circle".  The film decodes the benefits and the disadvantage of the technologies' daily data connection.  Together with Tom Hanks, Watson casts as "The Circle" neophyte whose concentration is monopolizing the internet.  This centralized data links essential personal data altogether into a system.  Thus establishing a contemporary online community, where every move is determined and no cryptic messages are allowed to pass.

The thriller film, "The Circle" presents 'Forrest Gump' star Hanks as the mystery old man, the head of cyber spying firm. Hanks' tries to influence his staff, mostly millenials to adapt to the latest techno-lifestyle.  Its' an eye opener film encrypted with the sad reality of the internet dominated age. Where transparency is the name of the game and privacy now becomes an unreachable aspiration to many.

"The Circle" has heavily invaded the technology and offers a unique cinematographic style.  Each screen is bombarded with flying data on air, money transactions, banking, purchasing and even text messages are all read on screen with the senders' identity attached.  The 'I see you' kind of environment will heighten the thrill of watching how each of the character behave on screen.

Master Director James Ponsoldt collaborated with "The Circle" prolific author Dave Eggers who wrote the book in 2013.  April 28, 2017 is the target pilot for "The Circle".
