Hatchimals, pegged as this year's most-wanted toy, have arrived at Walmart stores across the U.S. today. As previously expected, long queues were seen outside the retailers' branches. Due to limited stock, many people came home empty-handed.

According to some reports, many people camped for hours outside Walmart locations to get their hands on the uber-popular interactive toy. A day before the BIG DAY, several websites provided guidance for consumers who wanted to have their Hatchimals.

Due to Hatchimals' limited stock allocation, only a few items were made available at Walmart. However, the retailer promised that more stocks will be landing on local Walmart store shelves until December 19. Each location is expected to have dozens of Hatchimals.

According to Walmart, this week's local shipments are part of larger national shipments to arrive for the Holiday season. Tens of thousands of Hatchimals are scheduled to arrive before Christmas.

Meanwhile, Target announced that it will restock the Hatchimals December 11, Sunday. This good news was posted by the retailer on its Twitter account. Target published a press release confirming the arrival of more Hatchimals shipment.

Target will sell the Hatchimals across its stores for $59.99. Inventory is expected to pop throughout the week, says the press release. The company advises customers that two Hatchimals are only allotted for each guest.

The retailer also announced that a Hatchimal-themed GiftCard will be available in its toy aisles starting December 11. These GiftCards can be used by lucky recipients to pick out one upon their return at Target stores. More shipments will land through the New Year and into January, says Target.

BFAds.net and sister site Fatwallet.com can be used by customers to check out Hatchimals announcements. They are also advised to call their local stores if a new shipment will arrive and when exactly the toy will be available at Walmart and Target.
