'Moon Express' To Bring Vacations To The Moon After Ten Years; Cost Pegged At $10K? What We Know So Far!

A possibility of a moon travel may be possible in ten years. "Moon Express," a private space flight company has recently announced the possibility. The vacation to the moon may cost the traveller  $10,000. 

It is reported that "Moon Express" has been the first private company that has been permitted to travel to the moon. This then led to the announcement that lunar travel may be possible after ten years. The rate per seat per person is $10,000 per lunar travel.

The founder of "Moon Express," Naveen shares that the rate to travel to the moon after ten years may be less expensive. He also added that the amount of time to travel may be less in the coming years. It may even take only four hours to travel from Earth to Moon by that time.

There is also a report that in time, romantic couples may want to have their moment in the moon. "Moon Express" may be the first company to cater to this lunar vacation that may attract many in the coming years.

In the same report Jain, from "Moon Express", stated that they are willing to work with Elon Musk from SpaceX to have people travel to Mars. However, Musk shares that there are consequences in travelling to the Red Planet.

Meanwhile, "Moon Express" is set to travel to the moon in 2017. This Lunar mission is a competition from Google Lunar XPrice. The first one to put a robotic lander on the moon and drive it around then transmit the information to Earth will win $20 million. The second placer receives $5 million and for other awards, the winners will get another $5 million.

With every technology being upgraded each year, it is not far from possible that a lunar vacation may happen. "Moon Express" may be the first one to let people experience life on the moon.
