Ever imagined how 3 whole deer could fit into one stomach? Wildlife officials in the Everglades have caught a massive Burmese python which devoured three whole deer before being euthanized. The Burmese python most likely ate the three deers on different times over a 90-day period.

According to Fox News, the said Burmese python has set a record of being the first ever invasive python of its kind caught with three white-tailed deer in its stomach - two fawns and one doe. The said record was studied by an associate professor of Biology at Dickinson College of Pennsylvania, Scott Boback.

Boback, according to the news site's report, said that a python devouring three deer in such time span may be long, but pretty weird for one to eat such three large meals in a short window. Boback said that the captured female Burmese python raises a question on how pythons affect the ecosystem in the Everglades.

Authorities are still wondering how this is affecting the eco system given that one can eat three whole deer in 3 months, and that the authorities does not know how many of these kind are in the area, as reported by USA Today.

The news site reports that since Burmese pythons started to exist in the Everglades area, the population of animals like raccoons, rabbits, foxes, and other small to medium animals have somewhat been depleted.

The Burmese python was said to be 16 feet long, according to Daily Mail, and weighed 105 pounds. It was caught by the wildlife officials on June 3, 2013 and was euthanized after. The study has found out that the Burmese python's large intestine contains around 14 pounds of feces which reportedly contained hair, bones, teeth, and hooves. The news site reported that Burmese pythons are known to devour small to medium sized animals in the Everglades.
