"Anne Rice", author of the best-selling novel "The Vampire Chronicles", has been hard at work on the TV adaptation of her famous book series, "The Vampire Chronicles." The series is set to focus on the Vampire Lestat. It seems that the author already has  different stars in mind to play the roles of some of the characters in the series.

It is reported that Anne Rice shared that she wants someone to play Lestat's role to look exactly like the character in the book. Lestat is described to be six feet tall with blond hair. Rice did not name the cast to play the role yet but she did mention other stars to play Louise and Marius.

Louise is a beautiful being, as Anne Rice describes him, and she is looking at Matt Bomer to play the role. Marius is one of the pillars of Anne Rice's book series and is a character in one of the books from The Vampire Chronicles. He also wants someone to play the role with a nearest resemblance to the character. Rice is looking at Matthew MacFadyen to play it.

Matt Bomer, if indeed selected to portray Louise, is not new to vampire roles. He appeared to be a vampire in "American Horror Story: Hotel".  Anne Rice has worked on the book series for a long time. The first of the book series has been published in 1976.

'Interview with the Vampire: The Vampire Chronicles' was also made into a film which then featured Tom Cruise as Lestat and Brad Pitt as Louise. It has been accepted fairly by viewers. Cruise made an effective performance portraying as Lestat. Anne Rice is about to change the cast for the character in the TV adaptation.

Meanwhile, it has already  been reported that Anne Rice is working with her son, Christopher Rice, for the adaptation. Christopher Rice is set to do the first script of the series. As of this time, they are both working on the first preparations to make this TV adaptation possible.
