Super Mario Run iOS Launch Update; Nintendo Switch and Xbox One Super Mario Run Version Next?

Nintendo again set to release another popular game this December 15th. Super Mario will be redesigned and will be made available for the mobile platform. The said release is only available for iOs which cause a big fuss from Android users.

The release date of Super Mario Run will be on December 15th in the US, UK, and other countries. According to Express, the game will be launched in 151 countries and regions. The game can be downloaded for free. But, in order to get full access, players should pay a one-time charge of £7.99 or $9.99.

Super Mario Run is made available for iOS devices only which raise Android user's eyebrows. Nintendo explained that the Android version is in the works and will be made available soon. This is the first Super Marion will be played on mobile devices. Doug Bowser, Nintendo America Senior VP said that "The wait is almost over for a Super Mario game that can be played on mobile devices."

Also, speculation arises if Nintendo will make Super Mario Run available for Nintendo Switch. Rumors state that Super Mario Run could possibly be available for Nintendo Switch since the console supports mobile games as well. But, there is no confirmation towards this allegation. Microsoft also wants to create a partnership with Nintendo and aiming Super Mario Run available for Xbox One. Microsoft Phil Spencer stated that "Nintendo had the strongest first-party games, and that he'd love to see them on Xbox" according to Express.

Furthermore, Spencer has shared his sentiments towards Microsoft's plans in acquiring a Super Mario Run Xbox One version. "If we ever had a chance to work with [Nintendo] in the future, I would absolutely do it," he said.
