Instead of talking about her beauty secrets with Byrdie.com, Mandy Moore shared a story about her non-traditional family. She talked about her mother's affair with another woman and two of her brothers that are gay.

Before starting her acting career, back then Mandy had her time as a Teen pop star who made her steps shining through, said on Towleroad. However, things went differently with acting when three of her TV Series with NBC failed drastically.

During her interview, she offered instead a statement that made it more interesting. She said her mother left her dad for another woman causing the couple to divorce and added that two of her brothers are gay.

The singer also emphasizes that despite having a non-traditional family their parents showed how much they love each other and all of them raised as what they are today. Everyone in the family expressed their real side and everyone is in the right place where they should be.

On Huffington Post, it states that she in the family made her "own kind of normalcy" when she tied the knot on 2009 with Ryan Adams who eventually is a singer and songwriter. This is her main reason she married young and with a sad ending in 2015 when they split-up.

This is the first time the "A Walk to Remember" singer shared private information such as this. She did not recent the family experience but rather made a special attachment with the LGBTQ advocacy. Mandy in fact is outspoken with marriage equality.

Moore also shared her opinion Human Rights Campaign that coming out are for everyone may they be straight, Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, or Queer. People can understand sexual orientation and gender identity when it visibility is consistent.

People should live to the full spectrum of emotion in order to understand the LGBTQ. This is what she did, embrace her non-traditional family, including everyone. That is her key by giving unconditional love.
