One of the daily events that every player in "Pokemon Sun and Moon" religiously do every single day is activate the Island scan. To do this, players have to log in the game every two hours and scan a QR code. Do this for 20 hours straight and players get to scan any of the four islands and see which Pokemon is up for grabs.

So far, the Pokemon featured in island scans are some of the most wanted Pokemon in the game. This includes Gen 2 starters like Totodile that evolves to the mighty Feraligatr, Chikorita, Cyndaquil and much more from different generations. However, waiting for 20 full hours to get one sometimes gets a little bit tiring. Luckily, a new shortcut has been discovered and when done correctly, players get to activate the island scan in 10 hours.

How to Activate Island Scan in 10 hours?

Each Pokemon has a corresponding QR code that players can scan again and again in "Pokemon Sun and Moon" to get 10 points. But it has just been discovered that there are QR codes that scan for 20 points. This means players only need 5 QR scans to get a total of 100 points and activate the island scan. Moreover, this also means players can now do 2 island scans each day which makes it a lot easier catching all the Pokemon offered via Island scan.

Where are the 20 points QR Code in "Pokemon Sun and Moon"?

So far, there is only one site that has shared QR Codes that scan for 20 points each. In addition, the user mentioned that not all players may have a compatible version of Nintendo 3DS and the game so this shortcut may not work with everyone. The best way to know if it works for any player is to try the QR Codes she shared and see if they get 20 points for it.
