This episode will highlight that Lucifer is indeed a true rock god. Rowena wrecked his boat before sending him to the bottom of the ocean. He escaped using a fossilized rock that holds a feather from Satan's wing.

Upon acquiring the feather, he was able to heal himself and returned as Vince Vincente. He managed to rule in the body of a rock star. He got an idea to use Vince's fame to have an army of followers. He understood the process that if he is going to gain followers, then he will be losing followers.

His mission to acquire new followers was successful. His motivation isn't complicated. It was just pure and total devotion. If ever there were any clues that Ladyheart has the devil's music, then reunion is going to happen.

Sam, Dean, Crowley, and Castiel tracked Lucifer's path to Los Angeles, Vince's former record company. Lucifer's main agenda is to soak up fame to simply gaining followers. As the bandmates making their way to the venue, Lucifer decides to kill them, including the real Vince. Their band manager arranged to hold the concert exclusively. As Sam recalled that everything is useless because innocent lives were lost.

At the recording studio, Lucifer realized that rock is not about music. It can be used to distract people to worship and adore him. Humans have always been desperate to have someone above them. He put one of his fans to test, to carve his name into her chest. He won, the woman religiously followed. After all, that what was she wanted.

Near the end of the plot, Lucifer was disappointed with God (Chuck) and Amara for abandoning him again. Even after Chuck apologize to him. This scene shows that Lucifer is in the middle of getting attention and spilling an epic tantrum. Witness how he was determined about his mission, Supernatural airs Thursdays on The CW.
