Vanessa Kirby is playing it well as Princess Margaret on the latest TV Hit Series "The Crown. The younger sister of Queen Elizabeth who made scandals in her time that almost sparked a constitutional crisis in the British Realms in an attempt to marry the divorced Group Captain Peter Townsend.

After doing her own research, Vanessa Kirby found out the strange relationship of the role she is playing and with her elder sister Queen Elizabeth II. She said that Princess Margaret remained bitter in the next twenty years after forbidding his love affair to a formal marriage reported on Daily Mail. 

Princess Margaret's feeling became an obsession by media raising questions on the relationship with her sister after her "Townsend escapade". The Princess in a place choosing the life marrying the man she loved and losing everything she grew up with or to live a Royal all her life.

Kirby explained, "I really had to be vigilant about reading as much as I could, but only from the early Princess Margaret years." She added that the life of the Princesses was different when their father lived, and on his death changed everything including their relationship.

She also found a memorabilia of the love affair, when she stumbled upon an emotional love letter from Peter Townsend to Princess Margaret, featured in Vanity Fair. Reading the letter made her fall in love top both characters. She felt dignified to bring back the meaning of love in her character in "The Crown"

On a report from Express, Princess Margaret is ultimately in love with Peter but the only way is for a forced exile and relinquished all royal claims to the throne of the United Kingdom stopped her. The only proof that the love between her and Townsend is the memorabilia excerpt saying they share vulnerability and fragility.
