‘The Originals’ Season 4 Latest Spoilers, Update: ‘TVD’ Crossover Is Real! Will Nina Dobrev Make An Appearance Too?

"The Originals" Season 4 spoilers revealed that a character from "The Vampire Diaries" will make an appearance on its eight episode. Fans of Alaric Saltzman (Matthew Davis) may be delighted to learn that he might survive the abomination in Mystic Falls because he will be visiting Elijah Mikaelson (Daniel Gillies) on Season 4 of The Vampire Diaries spinoff.

"The Originals" Season 4 will feature Alaric's appearance as he delivers a valuable artifact to Elijah, TV Line reported. However, nothing has been confirmed about the priceless object and what use can it bring to the Mikaelsons.

In addition to Alaric's arrival in New Orleans, rumor has it that Caroline Forbes (Candice King) and actress Nina Dobrev will also appear in "The Originals" Season 4 to meet with the Mikaelsons. It can be recalled that reports about Caroline heading to New Orleans to save Klaus Mikaelson (Joseph Morgan) have already made the headline in the past month.

Showrunner Julie Plec has not confirmed whether or not Caroline will jump to "The Originals" Season 4. Though Plec previously spilled that there are characters from "The Vampire Diaries" that she chose to let live, she has not named any character to cross over to "The Originals" Season 4 as of this posting.

However, if Caroline weds Stefan Salvatore (Paul Wesley) on "The Vampire Diaries," a Klaroline love team might no longer recur on "The Originals" Season 4. But a report from NewsEveryDay seems to imply that Stefan and Caroline might not end up together.

The report claimed that actor Wesley does not think that his character Stefan should not end up living happily with Caroline on "The Vampire Diaries." He added that he still has no idea how their love story will go.

Meanwhile, speculations surfaced that actress Dobrev will take a new role on "The Originals" Season 4. She will not, however, portray the role of Elena Gilbert nor Katherine Pierce as she is suggested to play a new character named Tatia, ChattSportsNet reported.

"The Originals" Season 4 spoilers suggest that Tatia is Katherine's another doppelganger though no specific details have been confirmed. Also, fans are advised to take speculations and rumors with a grain of salt until an official statement has been released from the producers of the show.
