‘Hawaii Five-0’ Actor ‘Keo Woolford’ Dies At 49 After Suffering 3-Day-Stroke, Friends Paid Tribute

Keo Woolford is popular in the crime series "Hawaii Five-0" as Detective James Chang passed away. The talented actor and director Keo Woolford were only 49 years old when he died due to complications from the stroke in Hawaii where he was also raised.

The publicist Tracy Larrua officially confirmed the cause of Keo Woolford's death. The actor had a stroke and after 3 days of suffering the actor lost the battle at the hospital of Oahu, Hawaii. Another Legend Actor is now in heaven with God but the pain Keo Woolford feeling is now gone.

Tracy Larrua posted on Instagram on the time when Keo Woolford is still at the hospital fighting for his life. The post to stop the misinformations about Keo Woolford, also she stated the recent condition of the actor located at Pali Momi Medical Center and of course to get a lot of prayers for the actor's fast recovery. A lot of friends are sympathizing on the lost of a great actor and director including Brian Yang the co-star of Keo Woolford at "Hawaii Five-0" as Charlie Fong. Brian Yan posted a tweet that says, "So saddened to learn of @keowoolford's passing. From NYC to Hawaii, we miss you" last November 30.

The singer/actress Lynn Chen also paid a tribute to her friend Keo Woolford using the social media platform Twitter that says, "Shocked to hear about the passing of @keowoolford, a talented artist, and director who will be missed dearly." With a picture of overjoyed Keo Woolford.

"Miss Hawaii USA 1993" Kelly Hu also expressed her sympathy on the loss of her dear friend to twitter "Heartbreaking for the loss of dear friend Keo Woolford, writer, director, singer, dancer, spreader of love. #RIPKeoWoolford #TheHaumana".

Besides from starring on the popular show "Hawaii Five-o", Keo Woolford won several awards and got nominated too on his own film. On VC FilmFest - Los Angeles Asian Pacific Film Festival he got nominated for Best Narrative Feature while won on both Narrative feature (Audience Award) and Best First feature (Special Jury Prize) on the movie "The Haumana". He also won as Narrative Feature on the Philadelphia Asian American Film Festival for the same movie. At the Hawaii International Film Festival is where he also won for Best Narrative Feature. While on the year 2014, when he got two awards on Big Island Film Festival, first as Best Hawaii Feature and second is Feature on "The Haumana" movie.
