Fans of "ARK: Survival Evolved" waiting for a PS4 release will wait no more. The open-world dinosaur survival game is reportedly coming to PS4 next week.

The PS4 dino-drought has come to an end. Fans delight as game developer Studio Wildcard released an announcement that an "ARK: Survival Evolved" PS4 will come out on December 6, 2016. The hit title is already available on PC and Xbox One.

Last month, the possibility of having a December "ARK: Survival Evolved" release for PS4 users was uncertain. Studio Wildcard wanted to see if there is sufficient demand to make the game available for PS4 users, as previously reported by Playstation Lifestyle

The dinosaur game is launching with the "ARK: Survivor's Pack." The $54.99 bundle includes the core title and Scorched Earth desert-themed expansion. The pack also includes additional PS4 content like a Bionic Giganotosaurus skin, full set of Manticore armor, mechanics and more.  But "ARK: Survival Evolved" can be purchased as a standalone game for a lower price, apart from the expansion pack.

Take note that this is an early access so don't expect it to be a full release for PS4. It is an unfinished version of "ARK: Survival Evolved" in the developmental phase like the version of the game on PC and Xbox One Game Preview.  The game is expected to have a full release for PS4 in Spring 2017, according to Game Spot.

"ARK: Survival Evolved" has been successful since its release in June 2015, gaining a massive number of gamers across PC and Xbox One. The sci-fi dinosaur adventure game remains one of the top games on Steam, currently in the top 5.

It has been a long wait for PlayStation users and finally Sony pulls a surprise for the fans with this special winter "ARK: Survival Evolved" PS4 release. The rampaging dinosaur game is set to extend their dominance on PlayStation 4 once December 6 rolls around.
