A Pokemon Go Christmas Event has been predicted to be confirmed pretty soon, according to reports. And players of the popular augmented reality mobile game sure can't wait to know what Niantic can bring to the table this time. Will the Pokemon Go developer finally release the Legendary Pokemon during the Yuletide season? Will we finally get to meet Chikorita, Espeon, Umbreon, Slowking, Blissey, and Baby Pikachu, Pichu?

The upcoming Pokemon Go update is said to bring a lot of surprises this December and reports have hinted that players should start stocking up on Pidgeys. Why? Well, aside from the fact that Pidgey is the number one Pokemon which Ditto loves to pretend as, the Tiny Bird Pokemon is considered to be "the most effective source for XP in the whole Pokemon Go universe."

Additionally, the Pokemon Go Christmas event is said to be likened more to the Halloween Event than the recently ended Thanksgiving Event as it will bring more spawn to a few number of Pokemon, rather than just a feast for double XP and Stardust. Thankfully, less-seen Pokemon are slated to appear twice as more during the upcoming game event.

These not-so-common Pokemon that are said to spawn more during Pokemon Go Christmas event are Staryu, Starme, Seel, Dewgong, Clefairy, Clefable and Snorlax. And yes, we're pretty sure that the predicted list will definitely bring smiles to Pokemon Go trainers (Snorlax is one tough Pokemon that is sure pretty hard to find).

Reports have also teased that Pokemon Go December update may finally release the three Legendary birds Zapdos, Articuno and Motres that fans have been waiting for so long. Could December be the perfect moment for that especially since schools have a week off? But if this Legendary trio is set to come out during the holiday break, the birds are said to come out as gifts, one Legendary assigned per Pokemon Go team, depending if you belong to Team Valor, Mystic or Instinct. And by the way, can Niantic add Mewtwo to the release of Legendaries?

Another highly-awaited Pokemon Go update addition would be the introduction of Gen 2 Pokemon. We have had reports of data mined details of 100 Pokemon that are said to come to the game soon. In fact, some of these Pokemon would fit right well with the Christmas vibe. Will Niantic finally release a hundred more new Pokemon to the wild before 2016 ends? Let's cross our fingers for now.
