“One Punch Man” is one of the most popular anime series at the moment and after the ending of its first season, viewers were left in expectation of the hero’s return to the small screen. The time has finally come and what is there to expect of the new season.

University Herald reports that Lord Boros (Toshiyuki Morikawa) will not be the last man who dares challenge the might of Saitama (Makoto Furukawa). There will be a new villain on the rise who will become Saitama’s nemesis in the upcoming episodes.

Amai Mask (Mamoru Miyano) is rumored to be among the top pretenders for this title. It is reported that the story in “One Punch Man” Season 2 will deviate from that of the manga, which means that the reasons leading to the fight are still to be revealed. This mystery will most likely be unsolved once the episodes start airing, during the year of 2017.

Another interesting development in “One Punch Man” Season 2 is shared by Christian Times. They have announced that if the story in the anime does not differentiate much from that of the manga, then Saitama will find out the truth behind the reputation of Season 1 badass King (Hiroki Yasumoto). As it is well known, King is a name feared through the “One Punch Man” universe, but what will be uncovered is that he is a fake. Even though Saitama finds out the truth, he will decide to not share it with anyone else.

The last update comes from iTechPost, they report that in “One Punch Man” Season 2, Lord Boros will make a return. It is still not know how this will happen, neither will he jump against the hero alone. It is rumored that he will not be as brave as in the first season and will most probably join forces with other villains to take down Saitama. Are you excited about the series’ return?

“One Punch Man” Season 2 will air during mid-year 2017.
